Josh has been part of the GamePlan family since 2006, when he was employee number one at 3-Mentors. Initially wearing pretty much every hat there was to wear, he was instrumental in their rise as a successful Financial Marketing Organization prior to their merger with GamePlan in early 2016. He believes in working with every facet of a producer’s practice, from helping to get clients in the door to helping build a well-organized and efficient business. Each individual case is important to Josh, and he approaches case design as if his producers’ clients were family members. He likes to quote David Gaylor, GamePlan Consultant and co-founder of 3-Mentors: “If you are solving problems, you are in a position of power. If you are selling product, you are in a position of weakness.” Josh studied Business Management and Economics at Truett McConnell University, Auburn University and the University of Georgia. Prior to joining the financial services industry in 2004, he worked in hospitals throughout 46 states. The experience of travel early in his career has helped him to better relate to his clients and their communities. Josh is life and health insurance licensed.
Josh and his wife, Elaine, have two sons. He helps coach both of his boys in baseball and soccer, and they are also involved with the Boy Scouts of America. Living on Lake Lanier, Josh and his family spend a lot of time boating, tubing, swimming, fishing and camping. When not on the lake or coaching, you can probably find him in his garage. Known as “The Car Guy” around our Suwanee office, Josh enjoys refreshing older vehicles and bringing them back to their original glory.
